Assist professors by commenting on discussion posts, tracking student work, and providing individual or group guidance on course materials. Serve as a peer mentor to support the intellectual and personal growth of first-year humanities students.
Must be an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants must provide a resume, class schedule, and a writing sample from a college humanities class.

Scholars will work on average, approximately 7 hours per week. They are required to spend 3 hrs./wk. attending all meetings of their section. Outside of class-time they will spend approximately 4 hrs./wk.
Travel: Not required
The precise schedule of work and tasks to be done will be worked out between the scholar and professor, taking into consideration the needs of the course and the scholar’s own academic and personal schedule. Scholars will have required training for these duties during the week before classes begin.
