Instructors are responsible for teaching pre-Social Work and BSW courses using innovative delivery methods. They must utilize educational technologies and complete required Canvas training and orientation.
Candidates must hold an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and have at least two years of full-time post-MSW social work practice. A DSW or Ph.D. in Social Work or a related field is preferred.
All instructors are expected to be excellent teachers, responsive to changing professional needs, committed to innovative delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning, and committed to effective use of all technologies. All adjunct instructors will be required to complete AUM’s Canvas training and attend a BSW Adjunct Instructor orientation.
MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and a minimum of two years post-MSW, full-time social work practice are required. DSW or Ph.D. in Social Work or closely related field is preferred.
