The faculty member will teach in the Undergraduate/Prelicensure Program with a focus on Adult Health Nursing. Responsibilities include engaging in teaching, service, and scholarship activities appropriate to the academic rank.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in nursing and an unencumbered Alabama RN license. A Doctorate degree and prior teaching experience in a baccalaureate nursing program are preferred.

This is a full-time, 12-month Adult Health Nursing faculty position teaching in the Undergraduate/Prelicensure Program. Faculty may elect different degrees of emphasis on the teaching, service, and scholarship components of the faculty role based on rank. This is not a remote position.
Candidates for this faculty position with expertise in Adult Health Nursing are encouraged to apply. Acute care or critical care is preferred.

Master’s degree in nursing at the time employment begins. Must have current clinical skills. Candidates must hold an unencumbered Alabama RN license.
Doctorate degree or doctorate degree conferred by date of hire. Teaching experience in a baccalaureate nursing program and certified in clinical specialty.
