The adjunct instructor is responsible for teaching courses in Physical Education Teacher Education and ensuring effective student learning. They must be responsive to professional needs and utilize instructional technologies effectively.
Candidates are required to hold a Master's degree in Physical Education Teacher Education, with a Ph.D. preferred. Experience in online teaching and certification to teach online via the university's training program are also required.
All instructors are expected to be excellent teachers, responsive to changing professional needs, committed to innovative delivery of instruction resulting improved student learning, and committed to effective use of all technologies. In order to teach online, the Adjunct Instructor will be required to complete AUM’s Canvas Training and be certified by the university to teach online.
