The ideal candidate for this role will possess a compassionate attitude and a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
  • Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
  • Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
  • Plan and present effective lesson plans (teacher manuals provided each month) and teaching strategies for students.
  • Utilize a variety/range of learning modalities in each lesson.
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play, learn and grow.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
  • Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
  • Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 - 5 years of professional teaching experience (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related degree or CDA (Required)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (Required)
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. (Required)
  • Must meet all state specific guidelines and certifications for the role

Requirements

Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of professional teaching experience and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. CPR and First Aid Certification are also required, along with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
