The Personal Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality, customized training sessions based on client needs, conducting initial consultations, tracking progress, and building long-term client relationships through motivation and consistency. They must also adhere to company values, maintain a professional presence, promote services, and follow all gym systems and protocols.
As a Personal Trainer at our gym, you are both a coach and a brand ambassador. You play a critical role in delivering exceptional fitness experiences that lead to client success, retention, and long-term membership value. You’ll be responsible for providing personalized training, building client relationships, and contributing to a results-driven culture.

1. Client Training & Support (100% of compensated time)
● Deliver high-quality, customized personal training sessions based on client goals, fitness level, and individual needs. ● Conduct initial consultations and CrunchONE Kickoff sessions for new clients. ● Track client progress, adjust programming, and keep clients accountable. ● Maintain professionalism and build long-term relationships through trust, motivation, and consistency. ● Educate clients on safe and effective exercise, basic nutrition, and healthy habits.
2. Professional Expectations

● High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. ● Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ISSA, etc.) required. ● CPR/AED certification (current and valid) required. ● Previous training experience preferred but not required.
Onboarding & Compensation Structure

First 30 Days: Paid Onboarding Period
Your first month includes a paid ramp-up period focused on learning and preparing to train clients:
3-Day Trainer Training Camp (Paid Training Hours)
● How our gym operates ● CrunchONE Kickoff process ● Lead generation and member engagement strategies ● Sales conversations and converting consultations ● Programming tools and client tracking systems ● Shadowing experienced trainers and role-playing
All hours spent in training camp and shadowing are compensated as training hours at $15/hour.
Ramp-Up Paid Activities (Weeks 1–4)
You will be compensated for the following: Combined 10 Hours a Week
Compensation After Onboarding (Ongoing)
After your first 30 days, you will be paid only for client-facing, paid training sessions and commissions:
During promotional periods or sales pushes, management may offer paid outreach or floor hours to help boost personal training revenue. These will be communicated in advance and are optional but highly encouraged.
There will be expectations post on-boarding, these expectations include a closing % rate, weekly kickoff targets and active client targets.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, along with a current Personal Training Certification from an accredited body (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ISSA, etc.) and current CPR/AED certification. Previous training experience is preferred but not mandatory.
