Assist the Group Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing environment for infants and toddlers, focusing on their social, academic, and developmental growth. Responsibilities include supervising children, maintaining classroom equipment, and maintaining positive relationships with parents.
Requires a High School Diploma or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and experience caring for children aged 0-5. Candidates must complete 30 hours of training, create an Aspire Registry, and provide proof of vaccinations.
Under the supervision of a Group Teacher, shall be responsible for working with the framework of Lorraine Montenegro Women and Children’s Residence Infant/Toddler Program and carrying out its functions, policies and procedure. Work with children to provide a safe and nurturing environment for social and academic growth. Provide supervision, discipline and other forms of general care, in addition to helping with instruction and clerical work. Good communication and interpersonal skills
