• Joseph Catholic School is seeking qualified, dependable, and faith-supportive Substitute Teachers to provide instructional continuity and classroom supervision in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
• Substitute Teachers are responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment, implementing lesson plans provided by the teacher, and supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
• The ideal candidate demonstrates flexibility, effective classroom management skills, professionalism, and a commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment for all students.Job Responsibilities Classroom Instruction

Implement lesson plans and instructional activities provided by the regular classroom teacher. Deliver instruction and facilitate learning activities in accordance with established classroom expectations. Adapt to varying grade levels, subjects, and classroom environments as assigned. Encourage student participation and engagement in learning activities.

Classroom Management

• Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment.
• Enforce school and classroom rules, policies, and procedures.
• Address student behavior concerns in a professional and consistent manner.
• Supervise students throughout the school day, including transitions, lunch, recess, and other assigned activities.
• Job Requirements Ability to supervise and engage students in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
