The Embedded Tutor & Student Leader supports peer learning and models effective college success behaviors. This role promotes engagement, confidence, and skill development in time management, help-seeking, and collaborative learning, while demonstrating knowledge of growth and learning (ECD). Key Responsibilities Model effective student success behaviors (organization, note-taking, participation) Demonstrate and normalize asking for help and engaging in class discussions Facilitate small group study sessions, ensuring each student participates Coordinate and lead bi-weekly meetings to review chapter concepts Organize and host at least one student webinar to guide peer discussion Support peers with: Time management Study strategies Communication with instructors Apply ECD knowledge to support peer growth and learning Time Commitment 8–10 hours per week

Participate in ongoing professional development related to tutoring, student success strategies, and nursing education support.
