The lecturer will teach EDMX 627, focusing on assessment methods and instructional planning for students with disabilities and learning needs. Responsibilities include administering assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support inclusive educational environments.
A master's degree in education or special education is required, with a PhD and California Special Education teaching credentials preferred. Candidates must have extensive experience in TK-12 special education assessment and be able to work within the State of California.
This course focuses on methods of assessment and instructional planning to support students with disabilities, language differences, and other learning needs in accessing the general education curriculum. Candidates should have experience administering, interpreting, and utilizing formal and informal assessments to develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The course emphasizes evidence-based assessment practices, data-driven instructional planning, and collaboration to promote inclusive educational environments.
$5,507 - $6,677 per full-time month
Lecturer B - AY: $6,221 - $13,224 per full-time month
The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
