Advanced Practice Clinician Fellow, Urgent Care

• HealthPartners is offering a 12-month postgraduate fellowship program to Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners interested in advanced training in urgent care with a targeted start date of January 2027.
• The HealthPartners Urgent Care Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship is designed to support new graduate APCs in their transition to practice or experienced APCs in their transition to a new specialty.
• The program provides comprehensive clinical and didactic experiences that foster competence and confidence in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care to patients with acute and urgent medical conditions in the outpatient setting.
• Responsibilities include obtaining histories, performing physical examinations, developing differential diagnoses, formulating assessment and management plans, coordinating care, providing patient education and treatment, and engaging in all required educational opportunities.
• Clinical supervision and support are provided by attending physicians and APCs.
• Training occurs in HealthPartners clinics across the Twin Cities.
• Through diverse rotations, didactic lectures, skills training, and structured mentorship, APC fellows gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary for a successful career in urgent care.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited
• Physician
• Assistant or
• Nurse
• Practitioner program
• Note: Applicants may be in final year of completing this requirement with hiring dependent upon successful completion.
• Licensure/Certification
• Required: Current national certification by the NCCPA Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Minnesota
• or- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of Minnesota Current national certification by the AANP, ANCC or AACN Current licensure to practice as a
