The Swim Coach provides leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in swimming classes while following YMCA program guidelines. They are responsible for building relationships with parents and students and ensuring all pool safety rules are enforced.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old and hold a current YMCA swim instructor certificate or equivalent. Professional Rescuer CPR certification is required, with First Aid and Oxygen Administration certifications being optional.
