This award-winning center has been operating for more than 35 years and is licensed by the MA Division of Professional Licensure, Office of Private Occupational School Education. It’s a school with a fun and “family-oriented” approach to learning. Our programs are taught by extraordinary instructors in state-of-the-art facilities – and we need you to join our team!
  • Purpose:
  • Schedule: Provide Comprehensive Career Training Services, and vocational instruction that prepares students with disabilities for employment, post-secondary education, and independent community participation. Flexibility required to support occasional evening, community-based, or special program activities based on program needs.
  • Essential
  • Functions: Deliver Career Training Services curriculum including Job Exploration Counseling, Workplace Readiness Training, Work-Based Learning Experiences, Post-Secondary Exploration, and Self-Advocacy instruction. Develop and coordinate internships, employer partnerships, job tours, community-based learning experiences, and field trips. Maintain required documentation, attendance records, service plans, progress notes, and outcome tracking in compliance with MassAbility and program requirements. Collaborate with schools, families, employers, and community partners while representing American Training professionally and modeling its Mission and WOW! Magic.

  • Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred. Experience in transition services, vocational rehabilitation, special education, disability services, or related fields preferred. Experience working with youth or young adults with disabilities preferred. Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, satisfactory CORI, and appropriate insurance coverage required. Spanish-speaking preferred. Requirements
