Our Organization is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Special Education Teacher to support a Missouri school district for the remainder of the current academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is committed to helping students with diverse learning needs succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally.
In this role, you will provide targeted instruction and individualized support tailored to each student’s unique needs. You will play an essential part in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), using evidence-based strategies to promote student growth, and collaborating with school teams to ensure consistent, high-quality services.
Track student progress through data collection and detailed reporting. Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices. Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with student goals. Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Work closely with families, administrators, and related service providers to support student success.
Knowledge of IDEA and IEP development. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid Missouri teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement (or eligibility).
