Advertised Salary

Minimum of $64,883 per 12-month appointment; if a terminal degree is held in the primary academic discipline, the minimum rate increases to $72,381. Salary commensurate with qualifications pursuant to the FSU and FNTFO/AFT agreement.

  • Position: This is a 12-month, full-time temporary lecturer position for face-to-face, online, laboratory, or clinical instruction at external sites for students in the Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiography. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's campuses or approved FSU sites. The candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date of this position is August of 2026 at the earliest and January 2027 at the latest. The selected candidate for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future. The university will not assist with any F-1 EADs, OPT, H-1 B, etc.

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered

  • Master's degree in Radiography or a health- or education-related field. Prior radiography teaching experience, 3-5 years of recent employment as a radiographer, specialty registries in one or more imaging modalities, including CT or MRI.

  • Faculty members also have professional responsibilities that may include continuing professional development; participation in curriculum development and university committees; orientation, recruitment, and registration of students; keeping regular posted office hours (which are scheduled at times convenient for students), and participation in traditional functions which have academic significance (i.e., reporting initial student participation date and submitting final grades on time).
