Requirements

What You’ll Bring and What You’ll Gain You’ll need a high school diploma or GED and some childcare experience, because your hands-on skills make a real difference in a child’s day. If you don’t already have a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, don’t worry, we’ll support you in earning one as you grow with us. Have or are working toward an Associate’s Degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education? That’s a big plus and can open doors for advancement. For our Early Head Start program (ages 6 weeks to 36 months), a CDA with Infant/Toddler coursework is required, or you can commit to completing it with our guidance and resources.
