Provide one-on-one behavioral support to children with mental health challenges using trauma-informed approaches. Implement individualized behavioral plans to help clients develop emotional regulation and independence through engaging activities.
Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, though a bachelor's degree is preferred. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the physical ability to perform safety holds and lift up to 100 pounds.
BIs follow individualized behavioral plans while receiving ongoing training, supervision, and professional development. Staff create engaging activities based on each child's interests and goals and typically work with clients 3–5 times per week during afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Our staff help children build the skills they need to develop healthy relationships, improve communication, and succeed at home, school, and in their communities. Our staff support and adhere to the family’s routine and structures while modeling and offering supportive behavioral strategies.
Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree, preferred. Experience working with elevated behavioral needs, preferred. Must be willing and able to perform safety holds on clients at immediate risk for harming themselves or others, following paid training. Must be able to navigate stairs, climb, twist, bend, and lift up to 100 pounds. Must have smart phone (Android/iPhone) and laptop/computer willing to use for work purposes. Willing to commute up to 30 miles to a client’s home. Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
