Role Overview We are seeking skilled and dedicated Kayak Coaches in Santa Monica, CA to join our dynamic platform. Customized Kayak Coaching: Deliver personalized sessions that meet each student's unique needs and goals. Skill Development: Build progressions that improve technique, confidence, and results. Positive Learning Environment: Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages growth and enjoyment.
2+ years of kayaking instruction or guiding experience (flatwater, sea/touring, or whitewater). Instructor certification preferred (ACA Kayak Instructor or equivalent) — not required. Current CPR/First Aid and water-rescue judgment; command of strokes, bracing, and rescue/self-rescue. Excellent communication skills to engage, motivate, and effectively teach students of all levels.
