The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing engaging curricula while maintaining a safe, organized classroom environment. They serve as a role model for children and act as a primary liaison for parents regarding enrollment and communication.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess an Associate, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in a related field with specific ECE credits and experience hours. Mandatory Pennsylvania state background checks, a physical exam, and a negative TB test are required.

As a Lead Teacher at our childcare center, you'll support the Child Care Program Director in creating a positive, enriching environment for children. Your role involves supervising, guiding, and serving as a role model. You'll plan and implement engaging curriculum with the help of an Assistant Teacher, ensuring compliance with regulations and YMCA standards.
