Candidates must hold a Master's degree or higher and possess fluency and teaching experience in the target language. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Duties: and Responsibilities:
· Provide high-quality, student-centered instruction across various levels. · Design, administer and evaluate student assignments and assessments in strict alignment with departmental curriculum guidelines. · Maintain regular communication with students and provide timely feedback on assessments. · Manage accurate student records in Canvas and follow all deadlines for timely submission of grades. · Coordinate periodically with full-time faculty and language program directors to ensure instructional alignment. · Participate in Department events as needed.
Specific duties and schedule depend on the course. Most courses meet twice a week with one to two office hours. Adjunct faculty also have the opportunity to provide some paid hours of tutoring each week.
· Master's degree or higher · Fluency in the language taught · Experience teaching languages · Legal status to work in the U.S.
· Degree in Applied Linguistics preferred, but not required · Experience with communicative and task-based teaching methodologies · Familiarity with ACTFL Guidelines · Ability to incorporate technology into instruction and provide a well-rounded, interactive learning experience for students
Minimum pay is $1230 per credit for those without a terminal degree and $1332.50 per credit for those with a terminal degree.
