The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, assessing, and instructing 4-year-old children according to GSRP grant requirements. They lead classroom management, implement curriculum, and build relationships with families to support child achievement.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education and experience leading a classroom. They must be at least 18 years old and capable of performing physical activities both indoors and outdoors.
The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children. The GSRP Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the GSRP grant.
