School support roles in DC remain selective

In the District of Columbia, school support staff roles often draw steady interest because schools need candidates who can manage student records, follow FERPA requirements, and support diverse student populations, including justice-involved youth. This role is competitive because it requires a Master’s degree in School Counseling or a related field and OSSE certification eligibility, while the listed commuter, health, and retirement benefits add to the overall package. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save research time, then confirm your certification path and highlight any direct experience with records management or youth support in your application.
