Physician - Psychiatry - Consult Liaison Psychiatry - Royal Oak, MI

• Corewell Health's department of behavioral health is growing to add a BC/BE Adult Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist to Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital.
• The Consult Liaison (CL) Psychiatrist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to provide psychiatric consultation to medical/surgical units and emergency department for patients with primary psychiatric conditions or psychiatric comorbidities.
• The CL Psychiatrist will evaluate, diagnose, and give recommendations for patients on the respective services, and facilitate referrals for long-term treatment when needed for the diverse population served.
• This role includes resident and medical student education.
