Instruct students in a Pharmacy Technician Diploma program, focusing on theoretical and practical knowledge of pharmacy operations. Guide students in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications in compliance with Florida Board of Pharmacy standards.
Requires an Associate Degree in Pharmacy Technology or a related field and a PTCB or ExCPT certification. Candidates must have at least three years of pharmacy practice experience and three years of college-level teaching experience.
We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician Adjunct Instructor for our evening
Our Pharmacy Technician Diploma trains students in the knowledge and competencies required by the profession. Students will apply their theoretical and practical knowledge in preparing, compounding, dispensing, and supporting the administration of a pharmacy’s operations. Graduates of this program will be able to perform as pharmacy technicians (upon licensure) in different public and private scenarios, such as institutional pharmacies (hospitals), community pharmacies, wholesale drugstores, and health insurance companies, among others, under the supervision of the license pharmacist, in compliance with the laws and standards of the profession and the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
