Responsible for the general supervision of youth and teens, including planning and implementing physical, nutritional, and academic activities. Ensures the safety and well-being of participants while maintaining compliance with YMCA and state licensing regulations.
Requires a minimum age of 18 and 48 semester college units or an approved alternative placement. Must be certified in CPR and First Aid and provide proof of a negative tuberculosis test.
After School - School Age Child Care Leader is responsible for general supervision of youth and teens, planning and implementing activities (physical activities, nutrition, academic enrichment, homework assistance, and light tutoring). Due to the direct supervision and ratio requirements outlined by the State of California, this position will not have an option to work from home during program operational hours.
