Job description

  • PAID CREDENTIALS - Eliminating upfront costs for necessary clearances & TB screening!
  • SUMMARY: The hourly Special Education Paraprofessional pay rate to work on assignment with Camp Hill School District is $18.00/hour 5 days of paid time off (PTO) - prorated based on date of hire Special Education Paraprofessionals may support students in one of the following areas: Autistic, Emotional, Instructional, Learning, and Life Skills Support OPENINGS: Elementary Life Skills Support Paraprofessional Position at Hoover Elementary School (420 South 24th Street; Camp Hill, PA 17011) – Grades K-2 Work hours: 7:50 AM-3:20 PM on all student and PL days.
  • Work will be in a classroom with higher need students and will provide behavioral support in the classroom and instruction in language acquisition.
  • The District will support training with AAC devices.
  • Some push-in support to specials Employees will need to assist students with toileting.
  • Materials, including gloves and wipes, will be provided.
  • Will need to be Safe Crisis Management trained EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma required.
  • For Title I positions - Must pass for "highly qualified" as mandated by NCLB 2 years post secondary education or higher - preferred Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred CREDENTIALING : (CCRES paid clearances and TB screening) PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance PA Department of Education FBI TB Screening Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts Safe Crisis Management Training (district will provide on a work day) Employer paid: Base medical plan for employee, life insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employees scheduled for 30+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits Employees scheduled for 20+ hours per week are eligible for dental, vision, and other supplemental benefits: Life insurance, short-term disability, accidental, critical illness, hospital indemnity, Norton Life Lock identity protection CCRES 403 (b) Retirement Savings Plan – 3% matching contribution Tuition discounts through collegiate partnerships Milestone service award Gift card raffle on pay-day Fridays Paid credential renewals Paid trainings ABOUT CCRES: As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, CCRES Educational and Behavioral Health Services is an organization of dedicated and highly-trained staff members who provide quality services to schools, children, adults, and families.
