SUMMARY: The Para-educator position will support students in one of the following areas: Autistic, Emotional, Instructional, Learning, and Life Skills The Para-educator will work on student days following T/ESD school calendar year Typical scheduled hours for Elementary: 8:30-4:00p / Middle School: 8:15AM - 3:15PM / High School: 7:30-3:00 Position schedule may vary depending upon assignment 11 paid holidays & 7 days of paid time off (pro-rated based on start date) The hourly pay-rate for Para-educator is $20.81 per hour PARA-EDUCATOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the special education teacher, implement IEP's, and behavioral plans.
