Market context
Clinical psychologist openings in Virginia often reflect steady demand in hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, and behavioral health settings, especially for candidates who can work across assessment and therapy needs. These roles are competitive because employers typically want an APA-accredited Ph.D., two years of clinical experience, and Virginia or West Virginia licensure; benefits such as medical, dental, vision, PTO, and an employer-funded pension can also matter. Review the licensure language carefully and compare the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here with the original posting to save research time before applying.
