About the role

Provide individual and family psychotherapy within the home environment to help clients develop adaptive skills. Responsible for maintaining clinical progress notes and developing psychotherapy plans for a caseload of multiple clients.

RATES: $60.00 per hour in independent contractor/1099 position SUMMARY: The Mobile Therapist / MT is an independent contract position and a member of an interdisciplinary clinical team: MT needs throughout Chester County, PA! MT will work after-school or evening hours Flexible scheduling for work/life balance!

Responsibilities

Provide individual and family psychotherapy in the home environment Provide insight into family dynamics and provide assistance in the development of adaptive skills in order for the client to take a more positive role in the family Provide clinical progress notes & development of psychotherapy plan Work after-school/early evening hours, usually with 1 - 2 hours per week for each client's family, and ability to build a caseload of multiple clients EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: (Requires one of the following graduate degree requirements) Graduate degree with at least 9 credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from an accredited college/university AND a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults Graduate degree from an accredited university with at least 9 credits specific to clinical practice in clinical psychology, social work, education, counseling, or related field AND completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum Experience working with children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum Disorder and PA License (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) preferred CREDENTIALS: (Clearances current within 12 months) PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance FBI Department of Human Service background clearance - Service code: 1KG738 TB screening (current within 3 months) Official transcripts from graduate program Professional liability insurance Valid PA licensure (if applicable- LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC) The Mobile Therapist / MT position is an independent contract (1099) position.
