We're looking for a compassionate, relationship-focused professional to join our Family Support team in Concord. If you're passionate about empowering families, building meaningful connections, and creating lasting change in your community, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role

As a Family Support Specialist, you'll partner with expectant parents and families with young children through regular home visits, providing education, support, advocacy, and encouragement tailored to each family's unique strengths and goals.

This role is built on trust and relationships. You'll meet families where they are—both literally and figuratively—helping them build confidence as parents, celebrate milestones, navigate challenges, and connect with valuable community resources.

Working alongside schools, healthcare providers, community agencies, and fellow Waypoint team members, you'll become an important part of each family's support network while helping children get the strongest possible start in life.

Reflective supervision and ongoing professional development ensure you'll always have the support you need to do this meaningful work.

    • What we're looking for
    • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Education, Early Childhood, or a related field preferred.
    • One to two years of experience in home visiting, parenting education, family support, infant/toddler development, or related services preferred.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple families and priorities.
    • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with Office 365 and SharePoint is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a supportive team.
    • Flexibility to meet families where they are, including home visits and occasional transportation assistance when appropriate.
    • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, acceptable driving record, and required automobile insurance.
    • Successful completion of criminal and motor vehicle background checks.
