The instructor will teach Radiation Therapy Technology courses through classroom and online formats. Responsibilities include preparing course materials, advising students on program progression, and collaborating on curriculum development.

Job Description

CSN is seeking part-time instructors to teach Radiation Therapy Technology courses. Teaching assignments will include courses related to Radiation Therapy Technology and may include responsibilities such as preparing course materials, delivering instruction, and supporting student learning outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

  • Teaching
  • Teach Radiation Therapy Technology courses that prepare students for careers as radiation therapists.
  • Deliver instruction through classroom and online teaching formats as assigned.
  • Teach courses during assigned schedules, which may include morning, afternoon, evening, and/or weekend hours.
  • Teach courses within areas for which the instructor is qualified.
  • Instruct didactic courses as assigned by the Program/Clinical Director, with a minimum of 1 instructional unit per semester.
  • Oversee specialty lab areas and classrooms.
  • Student Advising
  • Advise students regarding course requirements and program progression.
  • Monitor and support student progress toward program completion.
  • Provide appropriate referrals and resources to support student success.
  • Maintain student records, including grades, attendance, and clinical competencies.
  • Program Collaboration & Support
  • Collaborate with RDTP faculty in course development, curriculum planning, and textbook selection.
  • Work closely with the Program/Clinical Director to support program effectiveness and meet the needs of students.
  • Recommend clinical rotations that support program goals and student learning outcomes.
  • Recommend curriculum modifications, additions, or deletions related to program courses and clinical education preparation.
  • Provide recommendations to the Program/Clinical Director regarding student grievances and appeals.
  • Professional Development
  • Maintain current knowledge of clinical and educational practices through ongoing professional development.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • ARRT Credential.
  • Two years full-time professional experience in a clinical setting.

Salary

$925.00 per instructional unit, $57.81/per hour for lab. Courses/Credits assigned may vary by semester.
