About the role

The instructor will teach college-level ESL courses, develop syllabi and course materials, and evaluate student mastery of skills. Additional duties include student advisement, recruitment activities, and program development across multiple campuses.

Job Description

  • Core Responsibilities
  • Teaching college-level courses in field
  • Develop syllabi and course materials
  • Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
  • Provide and excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development
  • Courses taught at multiple campuses in Clark County
  • Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses
  • Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in TESOL, Linguistics or Second Language acquisition from a regionally accredited College or University

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching ESL in higher education. Experience with computer-assisted instruction and interactive laboratories

Salary Information

$925.00 per credit hour. Credits will vary by semester
