Prior to starting your student internship or your nursing school instructor assignment at St.
Luke’s, it will be necessary for you to complete specific requirements and orientation materials, which you will need to provide during the student/nursing school instructor application process.
In collaboration with SLUHN clinical unit leadership plans, implements, and evaluates clinical instruction. Supports an academic and non-academic milieu conducive to effective student learning and personal development. Contributes to the development and advancement of the nursing profession and nursing practice.

Clinical instruction may require walking up to six hours per day and potentially two hours consecutively and may require standing for one hour.
