Engage in high-quality language instruction in a diverse, inclusive, student-centered environment Ability to work with students with various learning styles, cultures, and life experiences both online and in person. Prepare effective lesson plans and provide supplemental material to achieve course objectives and address student needs Integrate technology and active learning strategies to enhance instruction Keep detailed and organized records of students’ attendance, assessments, and progress, including a final evaluation Collaborate with the coordinator and other instructors in the program and attend meetings as needed in person and online. Demonstrate a commitment to professional development in adult education Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in TESOL, education, ESL, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) Demonstrated experience teaching language in an educational setting Curriculum/course development experience with a demonstrated high level of preparation and attention to detail Knowledge of successful strategies for classroom management, especially in terms of linguistically and culturally diverse student Understanding of the challenges adult learners face. Experience working with students from different academic and cultural backgrounds. Creativity and flexibility in the classroom are expected. Excellent written and oral communication skills Comfortable with technology and course management systems. Proficient in the use of technology, including Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint primarily), Outlook, Zoom, and the internet for instructional and programmatic purposes.
