Elementary / Middle School Teacher Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator with a strong emphasis on English Language Arts. The ideal candidate values hands-on, inquiry-based learning and fosters a love of reading, writing, and literacy. Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in ELA across multiple grade levels Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in Science and ELA across multiple grade levels Design and implement differentiated lessons to meet a wide range of academic abilities and learning styles Utilize small group instruction, project-based learning, and cross-curricular connections Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports both academic and social-emotional growth Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide goals and interdisciplinary learning Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and classroom activities
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain) Experience teaching elementary and/or middle school students Strong understanding of differentiation and multi-age classroom structures Knowledge of effective teaching practices and evidence-based literacy instruction Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learner needs Preferred Skills & Interests: Familiarity with project-based or thematic learning approaches Experience integrating technology into instruction Additional experience in art, music, world languages, or STEM is a plus but not required
