Professional School Staff (Part-Time)Aspire Academy – Sarah’s Home Schedule: Approximately 20-30 hours per week Position Overview: Aspire Academy is seeking motivated and student-centered educators to join our team as Professional School Staff. The Professional Staff (Pro-Staff) role supports students through individualized instruction, one-on-one academic support, and structured learning within a trauma-informed educational environment. Aspire Academy is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience or interest in special education, alternative education, or individualized learning models. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct instruction and support in core academic subjects Deliver short lessons and assist with student comprehension Provide one-on-one tutoring and academic support Support students working through ACE faith informed (PACEs) curriculum Assist students with learning needs, including IEP and 504 support strategies Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive classroom environment Collaborate with school and residential staff Create Lesson Plans
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field (preferred) Experience working with students with learning differences Knowledge of IEPs, 504 Plans, or differentiated instruction Knowledge of STEM, Language Arts, Math, Art, Music, History, Civics, Strong communication and interpersonal skills What We Are Looking For: Ability to teach and explain academic content clearly Strong one-on-one support skills A calm, consistent, and student-focused approach Flexibility and teamwork in a dynamic environment
