The Port Washington Children's Center is seeking a warm, energetic, and dedicated Certified Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) Teacher to join our team. We are passionate about creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young learners thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with NYS Pre-K Standards
  • Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, staff, and families to support each child's growth
  • Use developmentally appropriate practices to encourage curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional learning
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress

Qualifications

  • NYS Early Childhood or Birth-Grade 2 Teaching Certification (required)
