The Early Education Infant Assistant provides care, training, and supervision for infants aged 3 to 18 months in a classroom setting. They assist instructors in implementing developmental programs, maintaining safety standards, and communicating effectively with parents.
All course work must be completed with a “C” or better from a regionally accredited college. Early childhood courses must include childhood growth & development or human growth and development; child/family/community or child and family relations; and programs/curriculum.
OTHER
RESPONSIBILITIES: Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting). Provide a clear TB test.
Must have up to date immunization records: MMR, T-DAP, Proof of influenza or Waiver Must be certified in First Aid and CPR within 30 days of employment.

Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, as well as being able to talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds and sometimes lift and/or move objects weighing up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must be available M-F for the entire shift schedule. Must apply to an equivalent School District position upon hire by CSTC as part of the temp-to-perm pathway.
