The teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment and implementing daily learning activities for 2-year-old toddlers. They must also manage daily care routines, maintain documentation, and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
Candidates must hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and have at least two years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed setting. CPR/First Aid certification and the ability to pass background checks are also required.

Mt. Olive Early Learning Center is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable K2 Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children ages 2 years old. This position requires patience, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
Provide a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
Plan and implement engaging daily learning activities that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual development.
Supervise children at all times while maintaining active engagement.
Assist children with toileting, handwashing, meals, and other daily care routines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom.
Complete daily classroom documentation and communicate effectively with parents.
Follow all MOELC policies, Georgia licensing regulations, and health and safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with the Director, Assistant Director, and fellow staff members.
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential required.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Must successfully pass all required background checks.
CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to bend, kneel, sit on the floor, and actively engage with young children throughout the day.
Ability to supervise children both indoors and outdoors.
