This role requires a strong background in swim group fitness instruction, a commitment to safety, and the ability to create inclusive and motivating classes for members of all fitness levels.Availability includes multiple dayparts during the weekTeaches a minimum of two weekly classesLead safe, effective, and high-energy lap swim classesProvide modifications and progressions as neededEngage with members before and after class to build continuously build communityEnsure a safe environment through proper supervision and use of equipmentCollaborate with the Group Fitness Manager to maintain programming excellenceQualificationsCertified Group Fitness Instructor (ACE, AFAA, or equivalent)Aqua-specific certification (AEA, SCW, Masters, USAT or equivalent) preferredCPR/AED certification (required or willing to obtain)Previous experience teaching aqua or water fitness classesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPay Transparency- $65-$75 per classAdditional
