We are partnering with a Washington school district to welcome a committed and student-focused Special Education Teacher for the upcoming academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative school community dedicated to fostering inclusive learning environments where every student can succeed.
In this role, you will support elementary learners through individualized instruction and structured interventions designed to promote academic progress, behavioral growth, and social development. You will work across both resource settings and inclusive classrooms, ensuring students receive consistent, high-quality support tailored to their unique learning needs.
As a key member of the special education team, you will collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to create meaningful learning plans and maintain strong communication that supports student achievement.
Deliver targeted instruction in one-on-one and small-group settings. Collect, analyze, and document student progress to guide instructional decisions. Partner with educators, families, and support staff to ensure coordinated services. Participate in meetings focused on student planning, progress, and IEP development. Modify and adapt curriculum to support diverse learning needs in inclusive classrooms. Design, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals.
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field. Experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required. Valid Washington State teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
