Foster language acquisition through speaking, listening, reading, and writing experiences. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate attendance, grading, and assessment records. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic progress and student success. Provide academic support through office hours, tutoring, and intervention strategies. Collaborate with faculty and staff to support school initiatives and interdisciplinary learning opportunities. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, retreats, liturgies, and school events. Support and uphold the mission, philosophy, and values of Rosary College Prep.
Bachelor's degree in Spanish, World Languages, Education, or a related field required. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement or ability to obtain licensure. Strong content knowledge and effective instructional practices in world language education. Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
