    Market context

    Michigan NP/PA roles remain competitive

In Michigan, Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant openings are often driven by ongoing clinical staffing needs, so employers tend to look for candidates who can start with limited ramp-up. These roles are competitive because they usually require an active license, a master’s degree, 2–3 years of clinical experience, and current CPR-BLS certification; benefits such as parental leave, childcare assistance, and wellness support can also influence interest. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your licensure status and align your experience with the specialty before applying.
