The Athletics Coordinator manages athletic spaces and equipment to ensure they are tidy and usable. They also handle reservations, communications, and provide game day support for sports teams.
The Office of Student Engagement oversees community building programs, and seeks a student worker to support programming for commuter students. This position reports to the Associate Director for Recreation & Commuter Engagement. The New School was founded by forward-thinking educators in 1919 to defy the intellectual constraints of a traditional college education.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Recreation & Commuter Engagement, the Athletics Coordinator will assist in keeping the athletic space and equipment usable, reservations, communications, and provide game day support for teams.
Hourly Rate: $20 / hour

Applicants must be currently enrolled New School students who qualify for Federal Work Study with a demonstrated interest in sports. Prior experience as a team captain or CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
