Provide care and supervision for pregnant teen mothers and their children within a residential facility. Manage transportation to schools, appointments, and court, while supervising external activities and field trips.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Florida driver's license, and experience working with teen mothers and infants. Degrees in Education or Social Services and certifications in Early Childhood or Infant Care are preferred.
This position provides care and supervision of the wellbeing of Pregnant/Teen Mothers and their children while in residential care in a respectful, affirming and dignified manner in accordance with the requirements of the State of Florida licensing, COA requirements, and policies of His House Children’s Home.
Will supervises field trips or activities outside of the home.
Will Transport children to and from school / Daycare, appointments, court and any necessary activity.
High-school diploma or GED required. Associate’s and Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Services or related field from an accredited College / University preferred. Early Childhood Certification / Infant Care Certification preferred.
Must have work experience with Teen Moms and their Infants.
Must be culturally sensitive in working with a diverse population.
Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License, a good driving record and be able to drive.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule if needed. Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) (English/Creole).
Must have command of the English language verbally and in writing.
