Provide comprehensive psychological services including individual, couples, and group therapy to a diverse student population. Coordinate and manage the CAPS group therapy and outreach programming while providing clinical supervision to trainees.
Requires a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology and experience conducting group therapy. Licensure as a Psychologist in Texas is preferred or must be obtained within a specified timeframe after employment.

Reports to: Director, Counseling and Psychological Services
Supervises: Trainees as assigned
Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology. Pre-doctoral internship at an APA-accredited university counseling center site is preferred.
At least one year of post-doctoral experience in a university counseling center is preferred; clinical experience with women’s issues, and a commitment to working with a diverse clientele is essential. Additionally, experience conducting group therapy is required. Proven ability to coordinate a clinical service program is also desired.
Licensure as a Psychologist is preferred although unlicensed individuals will be considered. If licensed in a state other than Texas, the individual will be required to obtain licensure in Texas within 12 months of employment. If unlicensed, the individual will be required to obtain licensure in Texas within 18 months of employment.
Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position.
