  • Support children’s social interactions by encouraging cooperative play and positive communication.
  • Observe and document children’s progress and behaviors to inform program adjustments and report to lead staff.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to provide updates and support family engagement.
  • Help prepare materials and set up spaces for activities, ensuring all resources are age-appropriate and accessible.
  • Follow all health, safety, and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance and well-being of participants.

What you will bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Basic knowledge of child development principles.
  • Ability to pass background checks and comply with health and safety standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in CPR and First Aid for infants and children.
  • Experience working with children with diverse developmental needs or special needs.
  • Familiarity with developmental screening tools and observation techniques.
  • Bilingual abilities or experience working in multicultural environments.

This is a 20 hours per week position- ideal for working in the morning and having the afternoons free for school, responsibilities or just for fun!
