Liberty POST (formerly Island Therapies) is currently seeking a motivated and energetic Early Childhood Physical Therapist (PT) to work with children who are birth-5 years old through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. Immediate positions are available in the sensory gym at our office in Hauppauge. Job
Monitor and track child’s progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Record information on treatment and progress in a timely manner using Electronic Medical Record system. Effectively organize and maintain confidentially of child’s records and other documentations. Conduct physical therapy sessions for children with various diagnoses (ex: ASD, dyspraxia, gross motor delay, etc.) in our sensory gym in Hauppauge. Follow all state laws and regulations as it pertains to Early Intervention, CPSE/CSE special education. Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of New York required. A minimum of two years of experience working with children is preferred. Knowledge of MS Word and comfortable with working with computers and databases A valid driver's license and proof of car insurance.
