The assistant coach is responsible for teaching the sport, developing players, and recruiting to build the program. They must ensure adherence to NCAA and MAC rules while demonstrating professional leadership and sportsmanship.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's or advanced degree and have a successful background in coaching, preferably at the college level. Collegiate playing experience is also required.
