Market context

New York lifeguard roles stay competitive

In New York, lifeguard openings are often tied to seasonal and youth-serving programs, so employers look closely at current waterfront certification, age eligibility, and experience working with youth. This role is competitive because candidates who can already meet safety and supervision requirements are easier to place, and the listed requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original job description to save you research time. Before applying, confirm your American Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguard status and be ready for background screening and youth-setting experience.
